Hi-

I am running data through the SAX parser that looks like the following:

<?WGXPPrightHandPageStart pagePrefix="Page 1-" ??>
<?page type='recto' seq='025000' lev='|||||' fol='1'??>
<publication>
 <publication.front>
...

And I am receiving this error:

If I change the data to:

It runs fine. Are processing instructions before the first element illegal
in XML or is this a SAX bug?
